TAG’s Founder Honored by Johns Hopkins Alumni, to Deliver Webinar December 3rd
TAG’s founder, Dr. Park Dietz, was honored earlier this year at a ceremony at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine during the 50th Anniversary of his graduating class. The letter informing him of the award, from Theodore L. DeWeese, MD, Dean of the Medical Faculty and CEO of Johns Hopkins Medicine reads:
Dr. DeWeese presenting the award to Dr. Dietz
“It gives me great pleasure to congratulate you on receiving the Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association Distinguished Alumnus Award. This prestigious award reflects the gratitude and appreciation we feel toward alumni like yourself, who exemplify the Johns Hopkins tradition of excellence through personal accomplishments, professional achievement, and humanitarian service.
Your contributions to forensic psychiatry, threat assessment, and understanding criminal behavior are to be commended. The Johns Hopkins University and the School of Medicine are honored to be affiliated with your work.”
Dr. Dietz is a triple Hopkins alumnus, having earned MD, MPH, and PhD degrees from Johns Hopkins, and he is scheduled to deliver an autobiographical webinar entitled, “A Forensic Psychiatrist’s Journey” on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 7:00 pm Eastern time. If you would like to attend, you may register as a guest at: https://events.jhu.edu/form/park-dietz. Attendance is free, and it is not necessary to make a donation.
Dr. Dietz reflected:
“Johns Hopkins provided the tools, education, and training that inspired me to create both TAG and Park Dietz & Associates. I was privileged to absorb the teachings of so many inspiring faculty in the School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Department of Social Relations in the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences. I’m humbled to receive an award from the university alumni association, which had an extraordinary range of talent from which to choose, many of whom have sacrificed more to serve humankind.”
